“Gratefulness”

Gratefulness”

Each if us has heard a mother reprimanding a child who has just received a piece of candy.

“What do you u say?” Hurriedly, the child complies “Thank You”

Showing appreciation Is nice, even expected. But True gratefulness is more than token appreciation after receiving a gift.

Developing a character of gratefulness is one of the best thing that we should start doing to succeed in life. Gratefulness is a Spirit!

It’s different than acquiescing to a corrective parent & showing appreciation. Appreciation is a response after you receive something.

Gratefulness, on the other Hand,is the state of your heart before anybody does anything to you. It include thankfulnes, but it’s much more. It is developed through finding Your security & satisfaction in Christ alone.

In fact, the spirit of gratefulness is often developed in times of lack & poverty, where you find God is enough!

I love this statement very much by wayne cordeiro when he said ” sometimes you dont know that Jesus is all U need, until Jesus is all You’ve Got! It’s a wonderful day!

Let’s thank God in every circumstances not only if things are great but even in tough times 1 thes 5:15-18 ” pray continually, be joyful always, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for u in Christ Jesus

“Grateful for Grace”

Gratefulness is based on the root word “grace,” as I God’s amazing grace. This one word is so rich that the apostle Paul used it in every letter he wrote to open and close:

” May God’s grace be with You all” Paul understood the tremendous value of grace personally. In the original languag, grace was related to favor, like a pardon or a free gift.

This “favor” was usually undeserved and therefore something for which we could never stop being thankful.

Grace captures the message of the Cross, the unmerited salvation of Jesus Christ. It is based not on what we want God to do. It is based on what He has already done.

So when Paul opened a letter or signed off, he was reminding his readers that the richest word for us as Christain is “grace” — the fullest source of joy.

:) Jesus loves U! :) His grace is more than we ever needed :)

Have a joyful day with a grateful smile on your face :)
